Frequently asked questions

Is the Weltrade demo free?
Yes — it is free and funded with about $10,000 in virtual money.
How long does the demo last?
Demos generally stay active while you use them; confirm current terms in the client area.
Can I switch from demo to live?
Yes — open a live account from a $25 deposit and keep practising on the demo in parallel.
Is the Weltrade demo account free, and does it expire?
Yes. The demo is free and unlimited — there is no charge to open one and no deposit is required, because you trade with virtual funds. You can keep practising for as long as you need before deciding whether to open a live account.
How do I open a demo account?
Register a My Weltrade account with your email and password, then create a demo inside the client cabinet. Choose the account type (Cent, Premium or Pro), the platform (MT4 or MT5) and leverage up to 1:1000. You will receive an account number, password and a Weltrade server name — use those three to log in to the terminal or the Weltrade mobile app.
Which account type should I choose for my demo?
Match the demo to the live account you plan to use, so spreads and conditions line up. Cent (from $1, spread from 1.8 pips, MT4 only) suits very small-scale practice; Premium (from $25, spread from 1.5) works on MT4 or MT5; Pro (from $25, spread from 0.5) is the tightest-spread option on MT4/MT5. Commission is $0 on all account types.
Is demo trading the same as live trading?
The prices, spreads, platforms and instruments are the same, so your technical skills transfer directly. The key difference is psychology: with no real money at stake it is easier to stay disciplined on demo. Treat the demo balance seriously and follow the same risk rules you plan to use live. Remember CFDs are complex instruments with a high risk of losing money due to leverage.
How do I switch from demo to a live account?
You do not need to register again — you keep the same My Weltrade login. Open a live account from the cabinet, complete verification (government ID plus proof of address, usually within 24 hours) and fund it from the $25 minimum ($1 on a Cent account). Your existing platform and settings carry over.
My demo login is not working in MT4/MT5 — what should I check?
Most demo login failures come from the wrong server. In the terminal you need three things exactly as shown in your cabinet: the account number, the password, and the correct Weltrade server. Make sure you selected the Weltrade server that matches your demo (not a live server), re-enter the password carefully, and reset it in one step from the cabinet if needed. If it still fails, contact 24/7 live chat via support.
